Today I feel a little like I’m getting different with photography, perhaps this damn blog is paying off. From last week’s disastrous roll of film, one image resonated with me, this week I explored the idea further. I’ve been drawn to open fields for a long time, this being the first time I’ve focussed on trying to capture them differently.
I feel like I must try to avoid a self-limiting style and keep experimenting and letting the project grow through experimentation. A fine balance probably exists between keeping the images related whilst not being compromised by the decisions made on the last print. The low-contrast images happened naturally, I decided to go with it.
